Hideyoshi's invasion of Korea and reconciliation in the Middle Ages
During the Azuchi-Momoyama period, there were major events related to the survival of the nation on the Korean Peninsula. It is Toyotomi Hideyoshi's two invasions of Korea.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who wants to establish hegemony in Asia, dreamed of controlling China (Ming at that time), and carried out a thorough destruction and murder of Korea, who did not return.
It is said that it is a true story that more than tens of thousands of Koreans, including potters, were brought back.
After that, in the era of Ieyasu Tokugawa, a new search for the relationship between Japan and Korea began, and diplomatic relations were restored by the return of the Joseon Tongsinsa (initially the answer and reprinter). A total of 12 visits by the Joseon Tongsinsa played a major role in the absorption of advanced scholarship and new culture, and contributed to the flowering of Edo culture.
